Saturday 28 March proved to be one of the busiest days of the year for Absolute Music Services, with British Sinfonietta musicians performing simultaneously in Bristol, Dorking and Swansea.
At Bristol Beacon, the orchestra joined Bristol Choral Society and conductor Hilary Campbell for Bach’s St John Passion. In Dorking, musicians performed Mendelssohn’s Elijah with Brockham Choral under David Swinson, while at Swansea’s Brangwyn Hall the programme included Vaughan Williams’ Five Mystical Songs and A Sea Symphony with Swansea Philharmonic Choir, conducted by Jonathan Rogers.
