Absolute Music Services provides professional orchestral, music preparation and production services for concerts, recordings, events and touring projects throughout the UK and Europe.
Since 2010, we have worked with orchestras, choirs, promoters, artists, festivals and production companies, providing everything from individual musicians and complete orchestras to orchestral management, music hire, music preparation, percussion, backline and production support.
Our musicians have performed at many of the UK’s leading concert venues, including the Royal Albert Hall, Royal Opera House and Symphony Hall Birmingham, alongside major festivals, recording projects and international touring productions.

THREE CONCERTS, THREE CITIES, ONE DAY
A particularly busy Saturday saw Absolute Music Services provide British Sinfonietta musicians for three major choral concerts across England and Wales.
Orchestral Contracting
The core of our business is providing professional musicians for engagements throughout the UK. This ranges from small ensembles (such as string quartets) to full size orchestras (for large-scale concerts and televised events). We also provide session musicians for studio recordings, musical theatre pit bands and professional musicians for corporate events.
We have three in-house orchestras, each of which has become established in its own right.
British Sinfonietta
The British Sinfonietta is one of the UK’s leading independent professional orchestras. The orchestra is involved in a variety of engagements, including classical concerts, choral concerts, televised events and studio recording sessions.
Cinematic Sinfonia
The Cinematic Sinfonia was formed in 2014, and has rapidly become established as the UK’s leading professional orchestra specialising in the live performance of film soundtracks.
Welsh Session Orchestra
The Welsh Session Orchestra has become the go-to orchestra for many record companies and independent television production companies. Credits include Bryn Terfel, Corinne Bailey Rae and John Owen-Jones.
Orchestral Hire Library
Our extensive orchestral hire library contains over 1,000 sets, and constitutes a vast collection of material for orchestral and choral pieces.
Alongside original editions we also have new orchestrations and reductions for differing ensemble sizes.
Our clients include professional orchestras, amateur orchestras, choral societies and educational institutions.
Percussion Hire
Since 2005 we have been providing percussion instruments to bands, ensembles, orchestras and recording studios in London and the surrounding areas.
As well as our in-house hire stock we work with a network of professional percussionists throughout Greater London, in order to offer the largest possible choice of instruments, and to cover the widest possible area.
